Are the producers and certifications checked?

Accepted Answer

Every listing is reviewed by Organic Forward before it appears, and producers document their certifications on the page so a buyer can read the paperwork rather than take a claim on trust. Organic Forward does not currently check certificates against the issuing bodies' registers, so confirm the certificate with the certifier for anything business-critical.

Does Organic Forward sit between me and the producer?

No. Organic Forward is a directory, not a marketplace. There is no broker in the middle — you request information and deal directly with the producer for samples, pricing tiers and terms.
